About the Role:
The Accounts Officer - Property plays a key role in ensuring the efficient financial management of the organisation’s property portfolio. This position is responsible for managing all property-related payments, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial information across a property database of more than 300 assets, and supporting period-end processes and audit requirements related to property accounts. The role requires strong attention to detail, data integrity, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely financial reporting.

What will you be doing:
- Manage the property accounts mailbox
- Process property ad-hoc invoices and payments to landlords (electricity, grease trap, water, trade waste, rates)
- Calculate and process Rent, Outgoings, CPI Adjustments, and related payments
- Process monthly rental payments and reconcile to leasing system
- Process outgoings adjustments submitted by internal Property team
- Reconcile annual outgoings to landlord statements
- Issue percentage rent letters and invoices to landlords as required
Who are you:
- Previous experience in a similar Accounts Payable, Finance Officer or other high-volume transactional finance role, including filing, responding to and prioritising shared mailbox enquiries.
- Proven experience performing account reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and resolving variances in a timely and accurate manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with and manage relationships across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience working with property related databases MRI Prolease (Lease Eagle) is desirable.
