About the Role

The Operations Excellence Coordinator supports our restaurant teams across all brands in delivering operational excellence and brand growth through the development and refinement of operating resources, effective execution of field communications, and management of administrative platforms.

Your key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the KFC Operations Excellence inbox, triaging field and RSC enquiries, and coordinating timely responses with subject matter experts.
  • Lead the development and distribution of The Bucket newsletter, ensuring clear, timely, and engaging field communications.
  • Distribute YUM communications and support external ordering processes (e.g. EDC, SOS Printing, signage coordination).
  • Fulfil signage, mailbag, and promotional material requests for new stores, remodels, and ongoing operations.
  • Maintain and update POP action plans and lead requests to support operational visibility and field execution.
  • Develop and distribute management training materials (e.g. LAS Leader and Learner folders).
  • Coordinate recognition and engagement programs including prize packs, periodic competitions, and YUM restaurant plan tokens.
  • Review and compile reporting and insights to inform field and RSC decision-making based on business needs.
  • Support the rollout of initiatives through the relevant communication channels, to ensure effective field implementation.
  • Manage the ‘Hello from Taco Bell’ inbox, triaging store and customer enquiries and supporting loyalty program issue resolution.
  • Coordinate the development and distribution of the Taco Times newsletter, ensuring timely, relevant, and engaging content.
  • Process signage and mailbag requests including WH&S items & training cards.
  • Extract and upload VOC data to support Customer Experience reporting.
  • Triage sponsorship, development, and community engagement enquiries to the appropriate RSC contacts.

About You

As the Operations Excellence Co-ordinator, you will bring to the role the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or Marketing (advantageous)
  • QSR operational knowledge; KFC management experience is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed planning, organisation, and time management skills
  • Genuine passion for supporting restaurant teams to enhance customer and team member experiences.
  • Organised, dependable, and able to manage priorities with composure.
  • Proactive and accountable — takes ownership and sees tasks through to completion.
  • Confident working cross-functionally and communicating clearly with a wide range of stakeholders.
