About the Role

As a result of Collins Foods’ ongoing commitment to environmental and social governance and sustainability practices, we are looking for an experienced Group ESG Reporting Manager to join our Risk and Compliance team. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, the Group ESG Reporting Manager will be responsible for the management of the ESG reporting framework to support the delivery of our ESG related programs in both Australia and Europe. 

As the Group ESG Reporting Manager, you will also take ownership of the following key duties and responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee the delivery of CFL’s ESG strategy and related programs aligned to business objectives.
  • Provide stewardship of key social and environmental risks by monitoring changes in legislation, regulation, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to the ESG Council on financial disclosure matters related to ESG, sustainability and climate related risks.
  • Lead the preparation of the company’s annual sustainability report.
  • Develop and deliver sustainability reporting frameworks for both Australia and Europe to meet reporting requirements adopted standards ((TCFD, TNFD, GRI, CDP and NGER, Australian Packaging Covenant (APCO), Roundtable Responsible Palm Oil (RSPO), National Greenhouse & Energy Reporting (NGERS), Better Chicken Commitment, RSCPA approved, and the like).
  • Maintain governance processes so activities are appropriately delivered in line with public commitments.
  • Support the selection and engagement of external consultancy arrangements to assist with delivering projects as required, and
  • Develop business cases including return on investment assessments to enable decisions for ESG related initiatives and programs.

About You

You are passionate about ESG and sustainability and will bring a collaborative leadership style to ensure effective business partnership with internal and external stakeholders in both Australia and Europe. You will have 5+ years’ relevant work experience in a similar role, with proven experience designing, supervising, and managing (large scale) transformation projects related to ESG and/or reporting.

The successful candidate will also bring to the role the following skills, experience, and attributes:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Finance, Economics, Data & Analytics, Accounting, Business Administration and/or Control; or in a field such as Sustainable Finance and/or Sustainable Business & Innovation. 
  • Experience in and/or responsibility for non-financial management reporting, ESG business partnering and compliance reporting (e.g. reporting in line with AU / EU Taxonomy, TCFD, NGER, SASB and GRI).
  • Advanced knowledge of sustainability or finance reporting topics.
  • Awareness of important ESG developments, in the field of sustainability regulations, reporting frameworks and standards.
  • Proven high levels of business acumen and consultation / negotiation skills with a track record of positively influencing executives and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • A contemporary and agile work style with an ability to support a culture of collaboration and participation.
  • An ability to set high personal standards and operate with a high sense of accountability and performance and
  • Experience with managing project-based teams.
